An Endorsement from a former Assistant District Attorney, Laura Singleton Fogleman

An Endorsement from a former Assistant District Attorney, Laura Singleton Fogleman

As a former A.D.A. (Assistant District Attorney), I have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Heap.  I was able to observe her courtroom demeanor; her interaction with judges; her dealings with law enforcement; her manner in the office; and, most importantly, her interaction with victims of crime. In every instance, I have observed her to be decisive, professional and very ethical.  I have no doubt that under her leadership as District Attorney, all of Chatham County would be well-served.

Another Endorsement for Meg-remember residents of West Chatham (Savannah Quarters, Pooler, Port Wentworth and Garden City-this race affects all of you!)

I appreciate this as this race is critical for each and everyone of us.

To all Savannah Quarters residents and friends.  I urge you to carefully consider the credentials of Meg Heap.   In my opinion one of the most important races in this years elections is for the Chatham County DA position.  Over the past several years there has been a litany of mistakes, embarrassments and errors under the current regime.  Please consider the candidacy of Meg Heap for District Attorney.  I have had the …

All Tricks and No Treats. A True Nightmare on Montgomery Street.

All Tricks and No Treats. A True Nightmare on Montgomery Street.

During the debate, many of you witnessed Meg reading from several sheets of paper where she names case after case that has been reduced, lost, or dismissed in the DA’s Office. While this is the list that she read from (including pertinent news articles), there have been many more. This is simply a list that Meg compiled of cases that angered her. For each case, I have found the news articles associated with it, and you can click the link to read the articles.

1. Jamari …
